The map above shows the private roadways on two parts of the land owned by the Hanger Hill Garden Estate Ltd (Flats) under land registry title AGL 71752.
Oval A is the garage service road at the rear of Warwick House and York House between Queens Drive and Links Road W3. This service road is surrounded by houses on Monks Drive and Links Road which use the road to access their garages even though technically they have no legal right. In reality as they have been using this road for over 80 years they cannot be blocked from doing so. However they have no legal duty to contribute to the upkeep.
Oval B shows the garage access roads owned by the HHGE flats colored in BLUE where the adjacent houses have the legal right (easement) to use these roads. However these houses also have no legal duty to contribute to the upkeep.
