These two hoppers and the associated downpipes drain soapy bath and shower water from the adjacent flats. The size of the plants and the extensive soapy stains on the pebble dash indicates these hoppers have been blocked for months. The soapy water is flowing over ventilation grilles in the wall allowing the water to pond inside the brickwork and cause damp inside the adjacent flats.

In 2018 Flat 15 and Flat 13 below were involved in a £300,000 (three hundred thousand pounds) insurance claim on the HHGE Flats insurance Policy. However the HHGE Directors refuse to reveal the cause of of the loss despite repeated attempts to uncover this information.
